Job Description

The company operates under a customer-centric motto: 'You Request. We Respond. It Gets Done! ®'. This motto originated from a customer’s genuine feedback reflecting the company’s commitment to responsive and reliable service. The business revolves around delivering high-quality technology solutions and services, catering mainly to small to medium-sized businesses. They strive to merge technology and business growth by transforming ideas and visions into efficient, tangible outcomes. Their core mission is to be elemental in all phases of the 'Idea Cycle' — Vision, Design, Development, and Implementation, maintaining consistent responsiveness and a dedication to completing tasks effectively. The company is highly focused on lasting growth, profitability, and cultivating a stimulating and forward-thinking workspace for its employees. This technology service provider emphasizes professionalism, meticulous care in technology application, and exceptional customer management to ensure clients see a true return on their investment.

This role is titled Onsite IT Consultant, a part-time position designed to provide flexible work hours and supplement income, rather than a consistent full-time remuneration. The job involves traveling to client sites within a designated Metro Area on a recurring basis—typically every other week—to offer direct onsite IT support and technology implementation services. This position uniquely blends consultative interaction with clients and technical expertise, requiring both exceptional customer-focused communication skills and strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Compensation is competitive, offering $30 per hour including travel time, and guaranteeing at least $100 per job assignment. While requests for services may vary significantly depending on the local client volume—from as frequent as weekly in dense markets to infrequent in developing areas—the company works actively to grow its customer base everywhere. Most service calls occur during business hours, although occasional after-hours requests can arise. Crucially, the work schedule is flexible with no penalties for unavailability on given tasks, making it an appealing role for professionals seeking supplemental income with adaptable hours. Overall, the Onsite IT Consultant plays a pivotal role in helping clients maximize their technology investments by ensuring efficient problem resolution and seamless technology deployment at their physical business locations.
