We are currently seeking a part-time Onsite IT Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role suits individuals looking for flexible work opportunities and supplemental income, as the hours are not guaranteed and assignments occur on an as-needed basis. The position requires the consultant to provide onsite IT support and technology implementation services to various businesses, predominantly located within specific metro areas. Each assignment involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, implementing new technology solutions, and maintaining regular, clear communication with clients to ensure their needs are met efficiently. The consultant will frequently collaborate with remote personnel for guidance and support, making this role a balanced mix of technical problem-solving and consultative customer service. The pay rate is competitive at $30 per hour including travel time, with a minimum guarantee of $100 per job. Work frequency will vary depending on the local customer demand, ranging anywhere from once a month to every few months. Flexibility is a key attribute for success in this role as availability for requests is voluntary, without penalties for being unavailable.
