Job Duties

  • Perform receptionist tasks, answer the telephone, greet students, employees, and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate office or person
  • Maintain a pleasant and positive attitude toward all students, faculty, staff, and visitors
  • Assist with stocking and ordering supplies and materials
  • Coordinate event planning services such as open houses and student recruitment site visits
  • Coordinate field trip transportation
  • Assist with staff travel arrangements
  • Assist in application management including application submission support and processing
  • Assist with incoming mail and deliveries to faculty and staff
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, positive attitude, and supportive culture
  • Exercise initiative and assess workload, prioritize workflow, and use independent judgment
  • Maintain confidentiality of students, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members, as well as records and all information
  • Oversee student attendance reporting and communication
  • Coordinate the communication of mid-term and final grade reporting
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality
  • Comply with college policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as attending college functions, serving on committees, and attending community events
