Job Description

Freedom Square of Seminole is an upscale Senior Living Community located in the beautiful city of Seminole, Florida. This community is designed to feel like a quaint town square, complete with paved brick streets and a welcoming gazebo. Situated on 15 scenic acres with two peaceful ponds, Freedom Square offers residents a garden-like setting for retirement living while being conveniently close to Lake Seminole and the stunning beaches of the Gulf Coast. As a life care community, Freedom Square ensures a seamless transition for residents from independent living to assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care as their needs evolve. This setup allows residents to age in place comfortably and safely, supported by comprehensive healthcare services and a wide array of amenities and engaging activities.

Freedom Square of Seminole prides itself on fostering a culture of hospitality and exceptional care. The community emphasizes warmth, respect, attentiveness, and professionalism amongst its team members, ensuring that residents feel valued and supported every day. The staff team is encouraged to greet residents and guests by name with a smile, anticipate needs, listen and respond promptly, and maintain high standards of accountability and inclusivity. This welcoming environment extends not only to residents but also to employees who enjoy an inclusive, fun, and caring workplace culture complete with monthly luncheons, campus-wide events, and ample opportunities for career advancement.

The Staff Nurse role at Freedom Square of Seminole is integral to maintaining the community's high standard of care. This position is focused on providing extraordinary nursing care within a skilled nursing center and holding oneself accountable to the team and residents. Nurses in this role are responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, maintaining comprehensive documentation, managing emergency call lights, and ensuring effective communication with physicians and family members regarding changes in resident conditions. The nurse also participates actively in admission and discharge processes, makes rounds with physicians, transcribes medical orders, and assures the continuity of services and care throughout the community.

This position is ideal for energetic and compassionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have a passion for patient-centered care, particularly within a geriatric population. Freedom Square offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive wages, a revised bonus structure, and unique benefits such as DailyPay, which allows employees to access their earned income on demand. Other benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, and health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. The community values low-acuity patients and maintains good staffing ratios, ensuring that nurses can provide attentive and quality care without being overwhelmed.

Overall, Freedom Square of Seminole stands out by combining a welcoming, elegant environment with professional growth opportunities and a strong commitment to the wellbeing of both residents and employees.
