This role is ideal for candidates looking for flexible part-time employment with a schedule limited to Tuesdays and Fridays, starting at 7 AM. The position involves operating non-CDL 24 to 26-foot straight trucks to perform pickups and deliveries, including freight transport between company terminals and shuttle runs to designated meet points. As a critical part of the team, drivers will contribute to US Cargo’s mission by ensuring timely, safe, and efficient freight handling.

The role requires drivers to load and unload freight, sometimes independently or with the assistance of dockworkers, using appropriate material handling equipment when available. Physical tasks include frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight, along with securing cargo using strapping or other methods to guarantee safety during transit.
