We are currently seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team, specifically to cover late night shifts from 6pm to 1am Sunday through Wednesday, and from 7pm to 3am Thursday through Saturday. This role is pivotal in shaping the first and last impressions of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and energetic personality, capable of greeting customers warmly and ensuring their needs are promptly addressed. With strong knowledge of our menu items and specials, the cashier must be confident in answering customer inquiries, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
The primary responsibilities of this position include accurately processing all transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures, managing Pick-Up, To-Go, and Dine-In orders efficiently, and maintaining vigilance over the Front of House environment. This includes ensuring that lighting, music volume, and cleanliness standards are upheld to create an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. The cashier also plays a critical role in following up with guests as they leave to guarantee that they had a great experience and to encourage repeat visits.
This position demands an individual who is attentive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a busy restaurant setting. The ability to handle cash responsibly, maintain order accuracy, and deliver service with speed and professionalism is essential. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to work late night shifts from 6pm to 1am Sunday to Wednesday and 7pm to 3am Thursday to Saturday
- Ability to stand for up to 9 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
- Customer service skills and ability to work well with others
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with point of sale systems
- Basic mathematical computations skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Ability to multi-task
- Be able to communicate and understand English
Job Duties
- Food sales person who is welcoming, friendly and attentive to customer service
- Answer the phone and take call in customer orders
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Ensure proper sanitation, cleanliness and food handling
- Accurate food presentation with food and beverage quality assurance
- Must have complete menu knowledge and awareness of specials
- Responsible cash handling
- Have good service speed along with order accuracy
