Job Description

IR Eats is actively seeking a dedicated Part-Time Line Cook to join its kitchen team and support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. The role involves preparing and cooking menu items to standard recipes, ensuring every dish meets quality, consistency, and taste expectations. Additionally, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards is critical. Collaboration with kitchen staff for efficient operation, including food presentation and plating, is essential. The individual will also monitor and label food inventory to ensure proper storage and minimize waste.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Support the Head Chef in food preparation tasks including chopping vegetables cutting meats and preparing ingredients according to the day's prep sheet
  • Prepare and cook menu items following standard recipes ensuring quality consistency and taste in every dish
  • Help maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness adhering to health safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations including food presentation and plating
  • Monitor and label food inventory ensuring proper storage and reducing waste
  • Participate in brainstorming new menu items specials and promotions alongside the Head Chef
  • Work in cooperation with all levels of management support staff personnel church leaders volunteers members and guests to fulfil the mission of Indian Rocks
