This part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00 and involves shifts during weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. The position is based at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Experience Biergarten, where the successful candidate will join the core restaurant team as a Line Cook. As a Line Cook, you will work under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare food efficiently and safely in a high-volume dining environment. This role requires adherence to food safety and kitchen operation guidelines, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, proper labeling and rotation of food items, and ensuring the safe use of kitchen equipment.

The Line Cook position is vital in delivering an exceptional culinary experience to guests at the brewery. In this role, you will develop skills related to food preparation, kitchen safety, and multitasking under the direction of experienced culinary leaders. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • preferred minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume dining environment
  • excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • able to work in a fast-paced team setting
  • must be able to stand, lift, walk, and carry with ease
  • must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to food handler’s guidelines
  • ensure safe operation of the kitchen equipment and adhere to safety/security guidelines
  • report concerns to Executive Chef/Sous Chef immediately
  • knowledge of cooking procedures and kitchen equipment
  • flexible with job responsibilities and able to multi-task
  • keep a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace
  • label and date all food and rotate as needed
  • perform other responsibilities as directed by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef
