Job Description
Valet Living is a prominent provider of essential services specializing in trash collection at apartment communities, dedicated to delivering high-quality and consistent service that supports clean, comfortable living spaces for residents. As a company, Valet Living prides itself on fostering a culture of excellence, leadership through service, and continuous career growth, making it not only a service provider but also a career builder for many professionals in the industry. Recognized for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, Valet Living values the unique strengths each individual brings to the workplace and emphasizes creating opportunities for personal and professional development within a supportive team environment.
We are currently seeking a Lead Service Valet to join our operations team. This pivotal role entails supporting operation coverage, maintaining quality control, and facilitating team development across service routes. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Lead Service Valet plays a critical part in ensuring seamless, efficient trash collection services at apartment communities, keeping everything running smoothly while clients enjoy a consistently high level of service. This role is an excellent steppingstone for individuals aspiring to advance to an Area Leader position, as it involves hands-on leadership responsibilities and a proactive approach to managing service operations.
In this role, you will be entrusted with covering Area Leader duties during their absences, managing assigned service areas, and leading the team to uphold service standards. You will be responsible for training and supporting Service Valets, conducting thorough audits to assess service quality, safety, and efficiency, and stepping in on trash collection routes as needed to manage absences or high volume periods effectively. A success-driven Lead Service Valet will excel at spotting trends, solving problems, and preventing recurring issues by recommending process improvements.
Responsibilities also extend beyond routine operations; you will support multiple districts as business needs evolve, assist with container deliveries for new client launches, and participate in community events that promote service engagement and client satisfaction. Maintaining positive relationships with peers, leadership, and client contacts is crucial, as is promptly reporting safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or personnel concerns. This role demands a customer-first mindset, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to adapt independently in fast-paced environments.
Valet Living offers an attractive compensation package at $25 per hour with evening shifts typically scheduled from Sunday through Thursday, although some flexibility is available. In addition, mileage reimbursement is provided monthly to support travel needs related to the role. Employees benefit from a workplace culture that emphasizes growth, recognition, and teamwork. DailyPay options ensure fast payment, allowing you to receive your earnings promptly. If you are driven by service excellence and eager to grow your career in a dynamic, outdoor work setting, this opportunity is tailored for you. Join Valet Living to be an essential part of a team where every detail matters and leadership development is a priority.
