In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and serve as a key support figure, ensuring service coverage, quality control, and continuous team development. This position acts as an essential bridge between service valets and area leaders, offering hands-on leadership responsibilities and a clear path to career advancement. At a pay rate of $20 per hour, this role typically operates during evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, with some flexibility to meet operational needs. A company vehicle is provided for mileage reimbursement, underscoring our commitment to supporting your work on the field.
The Lead Service Valet position is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about maintaining high service standards. You will have the opportunity to cover Area Leader duties during their absence, manage service routes, and swiftly respond to and resolve service issues. This role requires proactive problem-solving skills, the ability to identify trends and prevent recurring challenges, and a dedication to operational efficiency and safety. Through your efforts, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth functioning of our trash collection operations, ensuring client satisfaction and team success.
In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will also be responsible for training and onboarding Service Valets, conducting audits to monitor service quality and safety, and supporting event logistics such as container deliveries and new client launches. This multifaceted role demands strong communication, organization, and leadership capabilities, as well as a customer-first mindset. You will regularly interact with peers, leadership, and clients, fostering positive relationships that enhance teamwork and service delivery.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Smartphone with data plan required to use our mobile app (biweekly stipend provided)
- Valid driver’s license and insured open-bed pickup or trailer-equipped vehicle
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and walk long distances
- Experience in logistics, valet trash, or field services preferred
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts

Job Duties
- Cover Area Leader duties during absences and manage assigned service areas
- Train and support Service Valets
- complete handoffs and onboarding as needed
- Conduct audits to assess service quality, safety, and operational efficiency
- Fill in on trash collection routes when needed due to absences or high volume
- Respond to service issues quickly and escalate complex problems
- Identify trends, prevent recurring issues, and recommend process improvements
- Provide support across multiple districts as business needs change
- Help with container delivery, new client launches, and community events
- Maintain positive relationships with peers, leadership, and client contacts
- Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and personnel concerns
