Job Duties
- Sort all linens and treat stains to ensure cleanliness and longevity of items
- Load laundry into washers and add specified cleaning agents according to protocols
- Operate dryers and other laundry equipment to dry items as directed
- Sort, fold, or hang clean, dried items to prepare for distribution
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the manager
- Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment and report any issues to the facilities manager
- Perform additional laundry services as needed to support guest room readiness
- Stock and maintain linen and other supplies in housekeeping closets
- Strip beds, collect and remove trash and soiled linen from guest rooms
- Assist with other housekeeping duties to ensure the smooth operation of daily guest room preparation
