Job Requirements

Authorization to work in the U.S.
Communication skills to understand company policies and safety regulations
Physical ability to meet ergonomic and lifting requirements up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
Compliance with company attendance and performance standards
Ability and willingness to use and learn deli equipment and tools
Completion of required safety training such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know
Adherence to company policies and procedures
Ability to work minimum 4-hour shifts or longer
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and withstand various temperature environments

Job Qualifications

Ability to use or learn to use deli equipment and tools

Job Duties

Review work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies
Make sandwiches, subs, roasted or fried chicken, pizza, heat soup, and merchandise deli food
Wait on customers, slice meat or cheese, weigh, wrap, and label orders
Work in grab-and-go lunch meat and cheese section
Produce product for sales floor warmers and hot bar
Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters
Track and record loss using known loss tracking
Mix, roll, and cook pizza
Carry and roast/fry chicken parts
Clean roaster and fryer
Break down and clean equipment every 4 hours
Order product for smoked program if applicable
Produce smoked products to support plan-o-grams
Perform record keeping as assigned
Follow general safety and operational rules including PPE use, food safety, proper lifting, and emergency procedures
