This part-time Kitchen Help position at The Goddard School offers an exciting opportunity to join a team that values teamwork and the integral role that kitchen staff plays in supporting the daily operations of the school. The role pays between $16 and $18 per hour depending on experience and involves working hours from 8 am to 2 pm. As Kitchen Help, you will be responsible for plating and serving lunches, organizing morning and afternoon snacks, checking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role supports the overall mission by ensuring that nutritional needs are met in an efficient and organized manner, contributing to the positive daily experience of both staff and children.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • part-time availability between 8 am and 2 pm
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies
  • prior kitchen or food service experience preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in kitchen or food service roles is a plus
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Plate and serve lunches
