Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- experience in cooking and kitchen preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food to residents in our community
- ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed
- identify and develop new initiatives and areas of improvements to better serve our residents
- responsible for cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and dining room utensils, informing Administrator of any challenges or safety hazards
- attend all monthly in-services and facility staff meetings obtaining proper documentation of each meeting or training
- be fully aware of individual resident likes, dislikes and health restrictions
