Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
ability to work part-time, averaging 20 hours per week
ability to perform heavy physical cleaning duties
ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate floor cleaning machines
ability to move heavy loads repeatedly
ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
reliable transportation to and from work
ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

Ability to be a self-starter with little or no supervision
ability to push/pull wagons, carts, buggies, dollies loaded with cargo
unrestricted ability to repetitiously bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach out
ability to repetitiously bend stoop and/or squat to lift items weighing an average of 50 lbs
ability to stand on a concrete floor approximately 80 percent of the shift
ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse and read receipts and reports
ability to sign and record numbers by hand and make entries on records
ability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers
ability to perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is a plus
