Job Duties
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors
- Empty trash and recycling
- Sanitize restroom areas by disinfecting toilets, sinks, and countertops
- Wash general window area, both inside and outside
- Perform carpet cleaning
- Conduct floor waxing
- Carry out light maintenance
- Notify Distribution Administrative Assistant when trash or cardboard compactors are full and need pickup
- Report and remove safety hazards
- Understand and follow procedures to handle and store chemicals properly
- Identify and report the need for major repairs to management
- Assist in monitoring building security and safety including locker doors and scissor gates
- Identify and report blocked fire extinguishers and exits
- Maintain general outside premises by picking up trash and emptying outside trash containers
