This position is geared towards maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and operational functionality within the store, contributing directly to the overall customer experience. As a store associate focused on cleanliness and operational support, you will play a crucial role in upholding Kohl's best practices and standards. Your responsibilities will include performing daily cleaning tasks throughout the store, ensuring all areas such as floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles meet the company’s hygiene standards. Using only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment, you will help maintain a safe environment for both customers and employees. You will also manage stock levels of cleaning materials, placing orders and ensuring proper storage and rotation to maintain supply readiness.

In addition to cleaning duties, this role supports the store's operational processes. You will assist with basic equipment maintenance, utilize Kohl’s technology tools to communicate and plan with the store team effectively, and support fulfillment activities including receiving and processing merchandise and managing stockroom operations. Customer engagement is also a key part of the role; you will greet customers warmly and offer assistance with products and services, contributing to a positive retail experience.
