As part of Travel + Leisure Co., the Part Time Housekeeper will play a vital role in supporting general resort operations at the WorldMark Birch Bay and Blaine locations in Washington. This role involves ensuring that resort units meet established quality and cleanliness standards to provide guests with an exceptional stay. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning assigned resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms. Duties encompass vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, making beds, and replenishing supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries. Maintaining the organization's housekeeping detail standards is a fundamental aspect of this position, requiring attention to detail and dedication to quality.
Beyond cleaning tasks, the Housekeeper will actively engage with guests and associates, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction. Handling guest issues and working towards their resolution is essential to improving overall guest experiences at the resort. This role demands the ability to work independently while demonstrating strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required due to the physical nature of the duties.
The position is part time and offers a starting pay generally set around $18 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
