The Part-Time Housekeeper position at ESA Management plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel to ensure an outstanding guest experience. This part-time role involves cleaning guest rooms and common areas in strict adherence to the company’s established policies and high standards. The housekeeper is responsible for preparing rooms efficiently and effectively to welcome guests in a clean and comfortable environment. Key responsibilities include managing housekeeping carts and laundry areas, restocking supplies as needed, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or lost guest belongings to management. The role requires a strong commitment to hospitality and teamwork, actively assisting guests by accommodating reasonable requests and enhancing their stay. The housekeeper also adheres to all safety and security protocols, ensures compliance with company productivity and time management expectations, and completes mandatory training annually through Extended Stay University.
In addition to routine cleaning duties, the housekeeper assists with maintaining the cleanliness of hotel common spaces such as the associate breakroom, fitness center, guest laundry, vending areas, stairwells, and other shared areas as directed by management. The position demands physical stamina and the ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, navigate the hotel environment, and occasionally perform tasks requiring lifting or pushing objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates need not have prior experience or training as the company provides the necessary training to support success in the role.

- addresses maintenance issues by reporting them to the front desk or manager on duty
- reports any left-behind guest belongings in checkout rooms directly to the front desk and management
- assists guests by accommodating reasonable requests to enhance their stay
