Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • ability to greet and seat guests professionally
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • willingness to follow safety and company policies
  • flexible shift availability preferred
  • open availability preferred
  • hospitality experience preferred

  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • pull out chairs
  • place clean/current menu in front of guest
  • guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
  • organize seating for groups with special needs
  • ensure appropriate place settings with napkin, clean silverware, and other standard items
  • check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • follow all company and safety policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • ensure clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • speak using clear and professional language
  • answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team to reach common goals
  • listen and respond to concerns of other employees
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
