The role being offered is that of a Front End Associate specializing in Assisted Self Check Out and Customer Service. This position is integral to ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process while providing top-notch customer engagement and operational support. The Front End Associate is responsible for monitoring multiple self-checkout registers concurrently, assisting customers with their transactions, recommending products and services proactively, and ensuring all purchases are accurately processed. In addition to customer interaction, the Front End Associate plays a key role in supervising and coaching the front end team members. The position requires vigilance in preventing theft and ensuring compliance with store safety standards, including monitoring entrances and exits and responding promptly to security concerns.

Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting and modifying information
- less than 1 year experience using retail technology like smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- ability to lift items up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
- availability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- willingness to learn and follow safety and operational procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- experience with customer service and product recommendations
- supervisory or coaching experience preferred
- proficiency with retail technology such as cash registers, tablets, and smartphones
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle multiple customers and tasks efficiently
- knowledge of store safety and loss prevention protocols
Job Duties
- Monitor multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- proactively assist and engage customers

- verify price matches and competitor information
- maintain store use lists
- monitor cash drawer limits
- assist with store security and loss prevention
- adhere to safety standards and maintain clean work areas
- operate store equipment as required
- perform additional duties as assigned
