Job Requirements
- must be at least sixteen years of age
- high school diploma or ged equivalent or in process of attaining
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- physical capability to safely pull, push, lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds
- ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety rules and procedures
- must be able to work immediately before, during or after an emergency or disaster
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged equivalent or in process of attaining
- knowledge of city policies and procedures
- understanding fundamentals of golf and golf course operations
- familiarity with city safety rules and occupational hazards
- skill in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
- ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- effective verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- operates and maintains golf carts including charging batteries, washing and detailing in compliance with safety regulations
- assists in maintaining golf course grounds including storing equipment, locking gates, picking practice areas, and cleaning cart barn
- recognizes, avoids, and reports unsafe acts, conditions, accidents, and injuries
- provides courteous and effective customer service to patrons
- performs other duties as assigned or required
