This position involves serving as a front desk coordinator, playing a crucial role in the daily operations of the music school. The individual in this role will be the first point of contact for clients and prospective students, responsible for greeting visitors in a courteous manner and managing incoming communications through phone and email. Beyond initial client interactions, this role includes assisting with scheduling instructors and managing make-up lessons, ensuring smooth running of the class timetable. The role also supports active recruitment and registration of new students by conducting facility tours and making outbound sales calls to leads generated at events—training is provided to confidently deliver sales pitches to help expand Bach to Rock's student base. Administrative support to the management team is a key element of the job, including entering registration and payment information into the contact management software.
The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational and time management skills, have the ability to operate standard office equipment, and effectively communicate with both clients and staff members. A rudimentary knowledge of music and music education is important to relate effectively to the mission and culture of Bach to Rock. The role demands physical presence during operational hours, with occasional requirements to move and set up music-related equipment. This is a flexible part-time position, ideal for individuals who can commit to at least two days per week and who value a collaborative, music-filled work environment. Compensation starts at $15 per hour, with opportunities for additional shifts and schedule flexibility, particularly during summer camp seasons when earlier start times may be necessary. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet clients and prospective clients in a polite and courteous manner
- respond to internal and external phone calls and email
- assist with maintaining the school schedule and make-up lessons
- assist management in active recruitment and registration of new students including leading facility tours and making outbound sales calls to leads obtained at events
- assist management in customer service calls to aid in client retention
