Job Requirements
- High school senior or equivalent
- passion for dogs and customer service
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work 3 PM to 7 PM Monday to Friday plus alternating Saturdays
- reliable transportation
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- basic computer skills
- comfortable taking photos and videos for social media
- experience creating short social media videos preferred
- reliable transportation
- flexible schedule and some weekend availability
- three professional references preferred
- dog care experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Greeting customers and their pets
- checking dogs in and out for daycare, boarding, and grooming
- escorting dogs to and from playrooms
- setting up boarding kennels as needed
- answering phones and scheduling appointments
- answering questions about services and products
- retail sales and inventory tracking
- building strong customer relationships
- managing client information in the database
- assisting with social media content creation and management
- creating simple photo and video content for social media
- giving tours of the facility
