Job Description
The hiring establishment is a residential property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service and seamless living experiences for its residents and guests. As a company, it values professionalism, reliability, and the ability to foster meaningful relationships within the communities it supports. Known for its commitment to quality service and resident satisfaction, the company operates multiple properties that require dedicated and trustworthy front desk associates who serve as the welcoming face and pivotal point of contact for residents and visitors alike. The company emphasizes a safe, respectful, and efficient environment where associates can thrive while delivering outstanding customer care.
The role of the Front Desk Associate is integral to the daily operations at each supported property. This position is designed for individuals who are motivated and capable of independently managing front desk responsibilities without direct supervision. The Front Desk Associate is the face of the company and plays a key role in enhancing the quality of service through consistent interaction with residents, guests, and service providers. This role offers a part-time employment opportunity with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16 to $19. The schedule is specifically set for weekend shifts, from 3pm to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays, making it an ideal role for those seeking part-time work during the weekends.
Responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of tasks focused on ensuring safety, accessibility, and a positive customer service experience. The associate is expected to greet and direct residents, guests, and invitees warmly and professionally while monitoring and controlling access to the building. Handling deliveries and packages, managing emergency alarm systems, and resolving complaints or issues promptly are key components of the day-to-day functions. The associate is responsible for maintaining accurate daily records, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring a secure work environment at all times. Additional duties may arise as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of property management and guest services.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with residents and guests, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The associate should exhibit diplomacy and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Organization and motivation are crucial attributes that enable the front desk associate to efficiently manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Effective communication skills and the ability to interpret technical procedures, leases, or regulations are also essential. The physical demands of the job include the ability to work at a computer, manage phone communications, stand or walk for extended periods, and the occasional need to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work extended or variable hours, including being on call, is necessary to meet the needs of the property and residents.
In return for their dedication and service, front desk associates are offered a comprehensive benefits package. As part-time non-exempt employees, they are eligible for select supplemental benefits, including dental and vision coverage. This compensates for their pivotal role in maintaining the day-to-day operations and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all community members. The company upholds a fair and supportive working environment, understanding the importance of work-life balance and employee well-being. This role is crucial for those interested in property management or customer service careers, providing valuable experience in a respected and organized setting where teamwork, individual contribution, and community engagement are highly valued.
