Job Description

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is a globally recognized hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of hotel brands that cater to a broad spectrum of travelers. With a presence in over 100 countries and more than 370,000 colleagues worldwide, IHG is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing rewarding career opportunities. Their innovative approach to hospitality and dedication to inclusivity make them a leading choice for both guests and employees alike. The company fosters a culture of collaboration, ambition, and continuous growth, encouraging employees to innovate and embrace new challenges within a supportive environment.

As a Front Desk Agent at IHG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the first and lasting impressions of guests the moment they step into one of their hotels. This position is crucial in ensuring that every guest's stay is memorable, smooth, and enjoyable — from managing reservations and handling transactions to anticipating guests' needs and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively, resolve issues promptly, and provide insightful local information will significantly enhance the guest experience, positioning you as a dependable and friendly point of contact.

This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values customer satisfaction, and possesses the flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. A successful Front Desk Agent at IHG understands the importance of attention to detail, professionalism, and maintaining a polished appearance as a brand ambassador. The role offers an hourly pay range of $13.00 to $15.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) plans for eligible employees.

Beyond daily responsibilities like check-ins, check-outs, managing safety deposit boxes, and processing payments, Front Desk Agents are encouraged to think proactively, recognizing and acting upon guest preferences and feedback. Safety is a priority, and agents are expected to adhere to strict guidelines to ensure both guest and personal security throughout their shifts. By joining IHG, you become part of a global team that values diversity, opportunity, and professional development. Even if you don’t meet every single criterion, your passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence can make you an excellent fit for this rewarding role. Begin your journey with IHG today and contribute to making every guest’s stay truly exceptional.
