Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred
- previous food service experience is preferred, but not required
- criminal background check
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work 28.75 hours per week for 180 days annually
- reliable transportation to work location

- basic math skills for handling transactions and portion control
Job Duties
- Prepares and serves meals in a school cafeteria
- provides excellent customer service to all students, staff, parents, and visitors with a positive and professional attitude
- follows menu instructions and portion sizes, and adjusts based on student count
- adheres to all Health Department guidelines to ensure food safety
- records and maintains food and equipment temperature logs
- participates and maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
- assists in stocking storage areas with food and non-food supplies
- performs any and all other duties as assigned
