This particular role is for Food Runners aboard a scenic harbor cruise, emphasizing the unique blend of hospitality and an on-the-water experience. As a Food Runner working with Aramark on this harbor cruise, you will be crucial in maintaining smooth and efficient food service during dinner cruises. Your responsibilities will include transporting dishes promptly and accurately from the galley to the dining areas, ensuring each plate is presented perfectly to provide an exceptional guest experience. The role demands a high level of attentiveness and urgency to detail, as each meal needs to be delivered in pristine condition while the environment remains dynamic and fast-paced.

You will work collaboratively alongside servers, assisting wherever necessary to enhance the flow of service, including setting and clearing tables between courses. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads consistently
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be comfortable working on a moving vessel
  • Must adhere to safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds consistently up and down stairs throughout shifts
  • Comfortable working in a moving vessel environment
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
  • Availability for evening and night shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Job Duties

  • Transport food from the galley to dining areas promptly and accurately
