Job Description

Grand Living is an innovative and rapidly growing senior hospitality company dedicated to redefining the way generations embrace life. With a strong commitment to luxury, comfort, and exceptional service, Grand Living has become an iconic brand in the senior living industry. The company operates a collection of upscale senior living communities featuring gracious apartments, exquisite decor, and design excellence throughout each residence. Grand Living's approach emphasizes not only the physical environment but also the unparalleled dedication of its staff, who deliver personal, attentive service to every resident and guest. This commitment to service excellence is central to the company culture, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere in every community it operates.

The Food Runner plays a vital role in enhancing and supporting the overall dining experience at Grand Living’s diverse dining venues, including the Bistro, Casual, Formal dining areas, Luminations® memory care, Club Room, and special event settings. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor, the Food Runner assists with delivering culinary services in a timely and courteous manner, embodying the Sterling Touch® philosophy of friendly and helpful service. This role requires a focus on guest satisfaction, contributing significantly to the positive dining ambiance for residents, their families, and guests.

As part of the dining team, the Food Runner is responsible for supporting all aspects of meal delivery and dining operations, ensuring strict adherence to community standards, procedures, and processes. This is a dynamic position that requires strong communication skills, manual dexterity, and physical stamina to perform duties such as carrying trays and assisting with serving during peak dining times. The role is ideal for individuals eager to work in an upscale, supportive environment with opportunities to contribute to exceptional hospitality experiences. Grand Living offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including generous paid time off, insurance options, retirement benefits with company match, and access to wellness amenities such as the Grand Spa & Fitness facilities.

Working at Grand Living means being part of a company that values inclusivity and celebrates diversity. The organization fosters a supportive workplace where employees are encouraged to grow professionally while contributing to the well-being and enjoyment of senior residents. This Food Runner position is perfect for candidates who have prior experience in fine dining or restaurant settings and want to work in a high-end hospitality environment dedicated to meaningful service. By joining Grand Living’s team, you become part of a mission to create extraordinary residences where life is uniquely embraced with care, respect, and exceptional hospitality.
