The role within Gunton Corporation's event marketing team is pivotal for driving brand awareness and generating qualified sales leads. This position is responsible for representing the Gunton and Pella brands at local events and festivals throughout the Pittsburgh Division. The individual in this role works closely with the Events Manager and other Events Coordinators to ensure a seamless execution of event marketing strategies designed to increase market share and support divisional sales objectives. By engaging directly with homeowners and prospective customers, this role facilitates meaningful conversations that convert into quoting opportunities and, ultimately, sales.
The person in this position must demonstrate an outgoing and friendly personality to attract and engage event attendees effectively. The role is part-time and requires availability to attend various shows and events, including evenings and weekends, physically within the Pittsburgh Division footprint. Furthermore, the responsibilities include supporting company initiatives that foster employee engagement and participating in regular in-person or virtual meetings with the manager to stay aligned on goals and progress. Job Requirements
- available to work part-time hours at local shows and events within the Pittsburgh Division footprint including evenings and weekends
- valid driver's license with four points or less during the last three years
- reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- friendly, out-going personality
- college or university degree preferred
- previous sales or marketing experience preferred
- experience supporting the execution of events preferred
Job Duties
- represent the Gunton and Pella brand at local events and festivals
- work with the Events Manager and other Events Coordinators to capture leads and selling opportunities
- engage with homeowners and potential customers at events to promote the Pella brand
- convert leads to quoting opportunities
- exceed weekly, monthly, and annual appointment goal targets
- participate in daily, weekly or monthly meetings with manager
- support company functions and promote initiatives that improve employee engagement
- handle customer requests professionally and timely
- exhibit highest standard of personal ethics and adhere to all company policies
- perform additional responsibilities assigned by manager
