Job Description
Hall of Fame Village is a premier multi-use sports, entertainment, and media destination located in Canton, Ohio, centered around the iconic Pro Football Hall of Fame's campus. Spanning over 100 acres, this sprawling complex offers an immersive experience blending world-class sports venues and entertainment spaces with premium shopping and dining options. Hall of Fame Village features eight diverse venues designed to provide unforgettable guest experiences, catering to sports fans, families, and visitors year-round.
Among the standout venues is the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, a world-class NFL-quality stadium that seats over 23,000 guests. With luxury suites, rooftop cabanas, and exclusive premium spaces, this stadium is recognized by Forbes as one of "13 game-changing NFL stadiums." Another key venue is ForeverLawn Sports Complex, home to seven state-of-the-art synthetic turf fields, complete with box office services, concessions, and fan viewing areas, hosting both local and national teams and entertainment events. The Center for Performance is the largest inflatable domed facility in the United States, providing all-season capacity for a wide variety of events. Play Action Plaza offers a football-themed amusement ride area, an outdoor amphitheater, a bar with a patio, space for food trucks, and other family-friendly attractions. Additional developments include the Constellation Center for Excellence, an 82,000-square-foot mixed-use facility combining sports-centric research, office, and retail spaces, and the Fan Engagement Zone, a vibrant entertainment zone designed for sports and retail experiences. Future expansions include a 144,000-square-foot football-themed waterpark and a seven-story Hilton Tapestry Hotel.
As an Event Staff member at Hall of Fame Village, you will work alongside the Operations Team to deliver exceptional guest services during a variety of events, including concerts, sports games, enshrinement festivities, weddings, and seasonal celebrations. This is a part-time, seasonal, as-needed position offering flexible scheduling to accommodate different availability and preferences. The hourly pay rate is $13.00, reflecting the importance of these essential roles in supporting the smooth operation of the Village’s exciting programming.
Your role will encompass several key responsibilities such as ticket scanning, ushering guests, assisting at concessions and merchandise booths, managing parking areas, providing guest services, and operating elevators. You will also help with event set-up and tear-down, moving tables and chairs as needed, and taking on additional tasks as required by event needs. Ideal candidates for this position possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive and friendly demeanor, and a willingness to take initiative and jump into a variety of tasks. Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
Upcoming events where you could contribute include local and national sports tournaments like the GLA Spring Challenge, the Superfly Car Show, the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festivities, and many other exciting gatherings. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on creating legendary moments for guests and fans within an industry-leading destination. If you are enthusiastic about guest service, want to work in an energetic and entertaining environment, and seek a flexible part-time job, the Hall of Fame Village Event Staff position offers a rewarding experience in Canton, Ohio.
