They play a vital role in managing guest flow and ensuring safe access to various areas of the property. Moreover, the position requires knowledge of Michigan alcohol laws and maintaining ServSafe Alcohol Certification, underscoring the importance of responsible alcohol management at events.

Event Security colleagues must embody the company’s cultural values and demonstrate an understanding of the event layout and property features, enabling them to assist guests efficiently. The role includes coordinating discreet communication with other staff and leadership regarding safety concerns, verifying credentials or IDs at access points when needed, and supporting emergency responses as directed.

Physically, the position requires the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, the strength to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work outdoors amid varying weather conditions and noise levels typical of busy event days. The work environment is dynamic and often fast-paced, requiring flexibility, situational awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ideal candidates possess excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and prior experience in hospitality, event management, or security. Flexibility in scheduling, particularly availability for evening and weekend amphitheater events, is essential. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to ensuring every guest enjoys a safe and positive experience at Founders Brewing Co.
