Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable commute or willing to relocate to Chesterfield, VA
  • Availability to attend client rehearsals, coordination meetings, and event days
  • Must work in-office
  • Must have flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • One year of event planning experience preferred

  • Minimum one year of event planning experience
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service oriented attitude
  • Strong time management, scheduling, and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Leadership ability to delegate tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Meeting with clients to determine needs and working with vendors to ensure needs of client are executed
  • Attending events to ensure smooth execution of venue and guest activities
  • Managing set-up, break-down, and clean up operations, assisting when necessary
  • Organizing all staff, vendors, and other logistical elements on event days
  • Scheduling and leading private tours
  • Build relationships with clients and local vendors while providing a high-touch level of hospitality
  • Perform additional duties as required
