Cura-Hospitality in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Evening Dietary Aide to join their healthcare foodservice team. This position operates on-site with a part-time schedule. The role will have work hours from 2:00 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m., focusing initially on supporting retail/store operations and subsequently transitioning to assist the Personal Care dining room during dinner service. The starting pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour based on experience.
As a Part-Time Evening Dietary Aide, you will play an essential role in ensuring the provision of high-quality food service to senior residents. The role involves preparing and portioning grab-and-go items like parfaits, trail mix, and packaged products during the early part of your shift. Later, you will assist with resident meal service, including setting and bussing tables, dishwashing, cleaning, and supporting the cook with food preparation. This multifaceted role requires a dependable, customer-service oriented individual capable of multitasking and working efficiently within a team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Job Requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, organized, enjoys interacting with seniors, works well independently, maintains a positive attitude, and takes pride in cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to handle multiple tasks using time and task management skills
- Available to work part-time evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service
- Adherence to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and service knowledge
- Customer-service orientation
- Ability to work well independently and in team environments
- Positive attitude and reliability.
Job Duties
- Assisting with meal service, setting and bussing tables in the dining room and assisting the cook as needed with food preparation and cleaning
- Assisting the Personal Care Dietary Aide with setting up the Personal Care dining room for meal service, including table setup and restocking the deli cooler and supplies
- Serving to approximately 50 residents
- Preparing sandwiches and other always-available menu items
- Scooping ice cream and portioning desserts
- Bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Taking and documenting food temperatures while following all food safety and sanitation standards
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our residents
