The company builds its success on a foundation of mission-driven individuals who are passionate about cultivating a love for learning while creating safe, dynamic programs where children can explore, grow, and thrive. The vision of Right At School aims to extend these exceptional and affordable programs to as many students, families, and schools as possible. This is achieved by maintaining a nurturing and secure environment where children of all ages can enjoy their experiences and reach developmental milestones. The role of Educator at Right At School plays a pivotal part in advancing this mission, offering an hourly pay rate between $20 and $22, commensurate with education and experience. This position is crafted for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with children and fostering an atmosphere of joyful learning and healthy living. Educators will engage children in structured fitness activities, daily curriculum, and a variety of enriching exercises aiming for educational and recreational balance. They are entrusted with maintaining a safe, nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance, ensuring effective classroom management, and facilitating communication between children, parents, staff, and school officials. The role emphasizes collaboration and professional growth through daily program meetings designed to discuss goals, share insights, and encourage accountability among team members. Safety remains a top priority, with responsibilities that include monitoring the environment, addressing potential hazards, and adhering strictly to safety protocols, including attendance documentation and incident reporting. Ideal candidates possess outstanding customer service skills, thrive in team settings, and typically have one or more years of experience working with children under 13. Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds, flexibility to support multiple local programs, and a dedication to supporting a healthy lifestyle are also important attributes. For California-based candidates, specific requirements such as First Aid and CPR certification, health screenings, tuberculosis test clearance, proof of high school diploma or GED, LiveScan fingerprint background checks, and authorization to work in the US must be met. Right At School is committed to diversity and equal opportunity, ensuring all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of race, national origin, age, gender, religion, or any other protected status. Joining Right At School means becoming part of a vibrant community devoted to enabling children to be kids while providing essential learning experiences and peace of mind for families.
