Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • ability to safely drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions
  • capability to frequently enter and exit vehicles
  • physical ability to sit for long periods
  • able to walk extensive distances
  • required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • able to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
  • able to lift weights between 1 and 15 pounds
  • vision including close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment ability

Job Qualifications

  • Safe driver with a valid driver's license
  • ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
  • able to enter and exit vehicles frequently
  • capable of sitting for prolonged periods
  • able to walk long distances
  • regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
  • frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
  • able to lift 1-15 pounds
  • vision abilities including close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous auction experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner
  • drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses while observing driving rules and demonstrating defensive driving principles
  • line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader
  • move vehicles as necessary and locate lost vehicles
  • assist with getting vehicles operating by inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles as needed
  • notify supervisor regarding inoperative vehicles and notify service or gas truck driver when vehicles are out of gas
  • assist customers and coworkers as needed
  • visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
  • may be required to work overtime as business needs dictate
