Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable company specializing in enhancing the living experience within apartment communities by providing innovative doorstep trash and recycling collection services. With a strong commitment to sustainability, customer satisfaction, and community health, Valet Living operates in numerous apartment complexes, offering convenient and reliable waste management solutions. These services help keep the communities safe, clean, and comfortable for all residents while offering flexible employment opportunities in local areas. The company values diversity, equal opportunity, and promotes a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork. Valet Living is recognized for its technological integration, using mobile applications to streamline operations and improve employee efficiency.

The role of the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as Service Valet, is designed as a part-time evening job ideal for individuals seeking a steady second income with manageable hours and minimal commuting. As a Service Valet, you will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps. This eliminates the inconvenience of long-distance driving or off-site dumping. The work involves walking properties, climbing stairs, and spending time outdoors, ensuring all collected waste is transported promptly to the on-site compactor. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility as you represent Valet Living directly to the residents.

This part-time position typically offers 10 to 15 or more hours per week, preferably Sunday through Thursday, with shifts beginning after 7:00 to 8:00 PM, making it an excellent opportunity to fit around other daytime jobs, schooling, or family commitments. Compensation is competitive, with helper pay at $16 per hour and truck pay at $18 per hour, with the added benefit of a fast and dependable payment system through DailyPay. Employees are assigned to communities close to their homes to promote convenience and reduce commute time. Moreover, the company is known for its swift hiring process, making it an accessible option for job seekers in the area.

The role also emphasizes safety and provides all necessary equipment such as gloves and safety vests to ensure employees are well-protected while performing their duties. Valet Living encourages its employees to stay active through physical tasks integral to the job, which include lifting bags up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, and working in various weather conditions. Career progression is also a strong aspect of working at Valet Living, with half of the Area Leader positions being filled through internal promotions, reflecting the company’s dedication to employee development.
