Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities. Established with a mission to enhance the living experience for residents by maintaining clean, safe, and inviting environments, Valet Living offers services that simplify waste management for property owners and managers while providing steady employment opportunities in local communities. With a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, Valet Living values the strength that varied backgrounds bring to the workplace and ensures equal opportunity employment for all candidates.

Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, known as Service Valets, who are passionate about contributing to their communities while earning reliable extra income. This role is particularly well-suited for individuals seeking consistent evening weekend work, typically on Fridays and Saturdays, with shifts that range from 5 to 10 hours per week. This position offers a routine schedule without the challenges of long-distance driving or off-site dumping, which means employees can work close to home and enjoy a manageable workload.

The primary focus of the Service Valet role involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps in local apartment communities and transporting these materials to on-site compactors. Ideal candidates will have their own open-bed pickup truck or a towing-capable vehicle with an open utility trailer to carry out their duties efficiently. Those without these types of vehicles, such as owners of SUVs, sedans, or vans, unfortunately do not meet the vehicle requirements for this position.

Service Valets benefit from a competitive pay structure, with truck owners earning $18 per hour and non-truck owners earning $16 per hour. The job provides an opportunity for fast payment through DailyPay, allowing employees to receive their earnings quickly. This role not only serves as a viable second job or supplemental income source but also encourages physical activity by involving walking through apartment communities and carrying loads up to 50 pounds.

In addition to competitive pay and a reliable schedule, Valet Living fosters career growth by promoting from within. Many of the company's Area Leaders began their careers as Service Valets. The company also supports safety by providing necessary gloves, safety vests, and other equipment to ensure employees perform their tasks securely. This commitment to safety and community impact makes this role rewarding for individuals who want to make a tangible difference in their neighborhoods.

Overall, the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist role offers a unique blend of steady income, physical activity, and local work, making it an excellent fit for those eager to supplement their earnings on a flexible schedule. Candidates with a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and basic smartphone skills to use the company's mobile app will find this job accessible and straightforward. Valet Living prides itself on a fast hiring process, welcoming applicants to apply today and join a team dedicated to improving apartment communities across the country.
