Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider specialized in doorstep trash collection for apartment communities, dedicated to keeping living spaces clean, safe, and comfortable. As a company, Valet Living has made a name for itself by focusing on environmental stewardship and exceptional customer service within residential communities. With a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents, Valet Living partners with apartment complexes across the country to provide reliable, convenient trash collection services that reduce the hassle and mess for residents, helping maintain tidy and pleasant environments. The company operates with a strong emphasis on supporting employees through steady hours, flexibility, and a positive work culture. Joining Valet Living means becoming part of a dedicated team in a fast-growing sector centered on community care and sustainability.
This part-time evening position of Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as Service Valet, offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking supplemental income or a second job with consistent evening hours. Your role will revolve around servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps, and transporting these materials to on-site compactors. This job is uniquely tailored for a local work schedule, eliminating long-distance driving and off-site dumping. Candidates must provide their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to successfully perform their duties. This physical and active role requires you to walk extensively, climb stairs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions, making it ideal for those wanting to stay active rather than being confined to a desk.
The job is typically scheduled 2 to 3 hours per night, Friday through Sunday, starting after 7 pm or 8 pm, which lends itself well to those managing daytime commitments such as full-time jobs, school, or family obligations. Valet Living supports fast pay through DailyPay, ensuring employees receive their earnings quickly, which is crucial for those relying on supplemental income. Moreover, the role offers a steady and reliable source of pay with consistent work close to home.
Candidates will use a mobile app for essential tasks such as checking in, tracking work progress, and submitting photographs when necessary, leveraging technology to streamline operations and communication. Valet Living prioritizes employee safety by providing protective gear, including gloves and safety vests, and emphasizes a safe working environment.
In addition to a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour for drivers and $16 per hour for helpers, the company encourages career growth, as 50 percent of area leader hires come from internal promotions. Referral bonuses provide additional earning opportunities for employees who recruit others to join the team, creating an engaged and motivated workforce. Valet Living is committed to equal opportunity employment, valuing diversity in the workplace and promoting a culture of respect and inclusion across all levels. If you seek a fulfilling, active, and community-oriented part-time job with the benefits of fast pay, steady income, and local assignments, this position with Valet Living is a fitting choice.
