Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service company dedicated to enhancing apartment communities by keeping them clean, safe, and welcoming for residents. Specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection services, Valet Living focuses on providing convenient and reliable waste management solutions tailored to apartment living. The company prides itself on its commitment to quality customer service, employee development, and community engagement. Its operations are centered around supporting apartment complexes to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and environmental responsibility, which in turn fosters community pride and satisfaction among residents.

Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to maintain cleanliness in local apartment communities during evening hours. This role offers a consistent and convenient evening schedule, making it an ideal fit for individuals seeking reliable supplemental income or a second job close to home. The position involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting these to the on-site compactor to ensure that the community looks neat and welcoming by morning.

Service Valets work within the same local area, servicing one or more apartment communities per shift, and enjoy the benefits of not having to perform long-distance driving, bulk item collections, or off-site dumping. This job is highly active, requiring walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors, appealing to individuals who prefer an active work environment over desk work. Utilizing a mobile app for work check-ins, tracking, and documentation makes the work organized and technology-friendly.

Pay rates are competitive, with Service Valets earning $19 per hour for non-truck roles and $23 per hour for roles requiring an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. The role offers guaranteed evening hours from Sunday to Thursday, typically starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, totaling about 10 to 15 hours or more per week. The convenient scheduling and local assignments allow individuals to maintain work-life balance and engage in other personal or professional commitments during the day.

Valet Living values safety and support for its employees by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment, ensuring a secure work environment. The company also emphasizes career growth opportunities, with many management roles being filled by promoting from within the Service Valet positions. Additional perks include referral bonuses, fast hiring processes, and quick payment options through DailyPay, making this position attractive and rewarding for candidates looking for steady and flexible part-time work.

This role is not just a job but an opportunity to make a tangible difference in your local community by keeping apartment surroundings clean and inviting for residents every service night. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and values diversity, creating an inclusive workplace welcoming all eligible candidates.
