Job Description

Valet Living is a premier service provider in the residential property management sector, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life within apartment communities across the United States. Known for their commitment to cleanliness, safety, and community well-being, Valet Living offers specialized doorstep trash collection services that play a crucial role in maintaining welcoming and sanitary living environments. As a company, they emphasize inclusivity, diversity, and equal employment opportunities, making them a respected employer in the property service industry.

They are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals seeking reliable supplemental income through consistent evening shifts close to home. The typical schedule involves work Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, without weekend commitments. This schedule flexibility makes the position particularly attractive for people balancing other jobs, schooling, or family responsibilities.

In this role, Service Valets are responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from the doorsteps of residents within assigned apartment communities. The collected waste is then transported to an on-site compactor, ensuring the community remains neat and free of waste by the morning. Unlike traditional trash collection jobs, this position does not involve long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping. Instead, it focuses on local, manageable routes that make the work more accessible and less stressful.

Valet Living incorporates technology into its operations by providing a mobile app that Service Valets use to check in, track work progress, and capture photographic evidence when necessary. This integration promotes accountability and streamlines communication between employees and management.

The compensation structure is competitive, offering a non-truck pay rate of $19 per hour and a truck pay rate of $21 per hour. Employees benefit from consistent hours, typically totaling 10 to 15 or more per week, and the advantage of fast payments through DailyPay, facilitating quick access to earned wages. Furthermore, Valet Living values their employees' safety by supplying gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment to ensure a secure working environment.

This role is physically active, requiring individuals to walk long distances, climb multiple flights of stairs, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position is suitable for individuals who enjoy staying active and prefer a job that keeps them moving rather than sitting at a desk.

Career growth opportunities are abundant within Valet Living. The company actively promotes from within, with many Area Leaders beginning their careers as Service Valets. Additionally, employees can benefit from referral bonuses by encouraging others to join the team.

Valet Living’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment underscores their belief in the strength that a diverse workforce brings. They employ, train, compensate, and promote individuals without discrimination based on race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected category.

If you are looking for a dependable part-time job with a consistent evening schedule, community impact, and room for advancement, consider applying for the Service Valet position at Valet Living. Join a team dedicated to making apartment communities cleaner, safer, and more welcoming while earning extra income locally with a supportive employer.
