Job Description

Valet Living is a dedicated service company specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities. Founded with the mission to enhance the living experience by maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments, Valet Living focuses on providing reliable and friendly doorstep service using sustainable practices. As a recognized name in property care and resident services, Valet Living operates across numerous locations, partnering with apartment complexes to take the hassle out of trash and recycling management for residents and property owners alike. The company prides itself on creating meaningful employment opportunities with flexible schedules that cater to individuals seeking part-time work that fits easily around their lifestyle commitments.

This particular role is for a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also called a Service Valet, who will work evening shifts servicing nearby apartment communities primarily within the local area. You will be responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and delivering it to an on-site compactor. This job offers steady work usually ranging from 10 to 15 plus hours per week in the evenings, primarily Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7 or 8 PM. This position is ideal for those seeking supplemental income or a secondary job that provides consistent pay and hours without the pressure of weekend work.

A unique aspect of this role is the requirement to have your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to safely transport collected waste. The work is predominantly local without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping, significantly reducing commute times and making the job convenient and accessible. This position demands physical activity including walking long distances across the property, climbing multiple flights of stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, making it suitable for individuals who enjoy staying active rather than stationary desk work.

The job utilizes a mobile app that allows employees to check in, track their work progress, and submit photographic proof when required. This technology supports efficient communication and operational transparency. The pay rates offered are competitive with $18.00 per hour for those using their own vehicle (truck pay) and $16.00 per hour for helpers. Employees benefit from reliable and steady pay with the convenience of DailyPay, providing fast access to earned wages. The company supports internal career growth, with many leadership roles filled by promoting current employees, and offers referral bonuses as additional financial incentives for bringing new team members onboard.

Safety is a top priority for Valet Living providing staff with gloves, safety vests, and necessary protective equipment. This reinforces the company’s commitment to ensuring a secure work environment for all employees. Working with Valet Living means joining a team that values diversity and equal opportunity, hiring individuals without discrimination based on race, religion, gender identity, veteran status, or any other protected class. This role is perfect for someone who is independent, reliable, and who takes pride in providing excellent service to community residents in a respectful and professional manner. If you are over 18, possess a valid driver’s license, have insurance, and can consistently work an evening routine close to home, Valet Living invites you to apply for a rewarding and flexible part-time position that fits your lifestyle while keeping community living spaces clean and enjoyable.
