Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable and community-focused service company dedicated to enhancing the living environments of apartment communities through reliable and efficient doorstep trash and recycling collection services. Valet Living specializes in providing convenient, eco-friendly solutions tailored to meet the needs of residents and property managers in multi-family housing units. Emphasizing both customer satisfaction and environmental stewardship, the company plays an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and safety within residential communities. With a commitment to personalized, local service, Valet Living hires individuals who are motivated, reliable, and passionate about contributing positively to local neighborhoods.
The part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist (Service Valet) role is an excellent opportunity for people seeking steady evening work that fits into busy lives. This position requires the use of a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer and focuses on servicing one or more apartment communities that are conveniently located near the employee's home. The role offers consistent evening shifts, generally beginning after 7:00 or 8:00 PM from Sunday through Thursday. This job appeals particularly to those looking for supplemental income or a second job, as it is designed to accommodate flexible schedules without weekend hours.
As a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for walking the properties, climbing stairs, and collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling placed on doorsteps, ensuring that these materials are removed before the next morning. This function helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by preventing buildup of waste and clutter outside their homes. The collected waste is then transported to an on-site compactor; there is no need for off-site dumping or managing bulk items.
The company supports workers through easy-to-use mobile technology, allowing employees to check in, track their tasks, and take photos as verification of completed work. Pay is competitive at $23 per hour with opportunities for daily pay through DailyPay, promoting financial flexibility. This role is designed to be physically active and rewarding while emphasizing safety through the provision of gloves, safety vests, and appropriate equipment.
Valet Living fosters a positive workplace culture with an emphasis on career growth, evidenced by the fact that half of the area leadership positions are filled by internal promotions. Employees can also benefit from referral bonuses ranging from $125 to $500 for introducing friends to the team, reinforcing a supportive and community-oriented work environment. The company adheres strictly to Equal Employment Opportunity principles, valuing diversity and inclusion at every level of employment.
If you are looking for a reliable, part-time job located nearby with stable and predictable hours, accessible pay options, and the chance to contribute to your community's well-being while staying active, this role could be an ideal fit. Valet Living offers a straightforward hiring process intended to get you working quickly so you can start earning extra income without delay.
