Job Description

Valet Living is a well-established company specializing in apartment community services with a focus on enhancing residents' living experiences by maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments. For years, Valet Living has provided innovative doorstep trash and recycling collection services, making apartment life simpler and more convenient. Known for its commitment to quality service and respectful community engagement, the company employs dedicated professionals who take pride in their work and contribute positively to their neighborhoods. Valet Living operates nationwide, focusing on delivering convenient and reliable refuse management solutions tailored specifically for multi-family housing communities.

The current opportunity is for part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities during evening hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking steady supplementary income, flexible part-time work, and a chance to work close to home without long-distance travel or complex logistics. Employment type is part-time, with predictable evening hours, typically 10 to 15 hours per week, starting after 7:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, with no weekend shifts. The pay rate offered is $19 per hour, with fast payment options available through DailyPay.

In this role, you will be promised a straightforward but essential responsibility—to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps within apartment communities and ensure it is taken to on-site compactors by morning. The job requires the use of your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to transport the collected waste. Importantly, this position does not involve long-distance driving, bulk item handling, or off-site dumping, keeping the work manageable and local.

As a Service Valet, you will maintain an active work routine, walking properties, navigating stairs, and working largely outdoors. You will rely on a mobile app to check in, track your work progress, and document your rounds by taking photos. This combination of technology, community-focused service, and physical activity creates a fulfilling and healthy work environment that appeals to people who like to stay active rather than stay seated.

Beyond the immediate job duties, Valet Living promotes a culture of safety and respect by providing safety gloves, vests, and necessary equipment to ensure employee wellbeing on the job. The company also encourages internal growth, with many managerial positions being filled by internal promotions, making this an attractive opportunity for those interested in establishing a career path within the company. Referral bonuses are available for employees who bring new talent to the team, adding an extra financial incentive.

Ultimately, this role is designed for individuals who value flexible night shifts that can easily be integrated with other personal or professional commitments such as a full-time job, school, or family responsibilities. It offers a chance to earn extra income while remaining local to your community. The physical nature of the work combined with the scheduled hours makes the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist position a unique and rewarding part-time job option in the service industry. Valet Living values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting practices without discrimination.
