Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable service company dedicated to enhancing the living experience within apartment communities by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and comfort. Focused on providing specialized doorstep trash collection services, Valet Living ensures that residents enjoy a cleaner and healthier environment without the hassle of managing their own waste disposal. As a company committed to community welfare and environmental responsibility, Valet Living offers reliable part-time opportunities that allow employees to work locally with consistent schedules and fair compensation.
The role of a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, is an essential part of Valet Living's service team. This position is designed for individuals looking for a part-time evening job that involves active work within their local area. The primary responsibility of the Service Valet is to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transport the waste to on-site compactors. This job is uniquely suited for those who enjoy working outdoors and value steady, predictable hours during the evening. The part-time position typically involves shifts Sunday through Thursday starting at 7:00 PM for about 10 to 12 hours each week.
An important aspect of this role is the requirement to have a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer. This vehicle is essential for efficiently transporting trash to the designated compactors without needing long-distance driving or off-site dumping. With an hourly pay rate of $21 for truck operators and $18 for helpers, this job provides a competitive wage with the added benefit of fast pay through DailyPay for quick access to earned income.
Working as a Service Valet provides more than just income; it offers the chance to stay active, enjoy flexible evening schedules, and work close to home. Employees utilize a mobile app to check in, track progress, and communicate effectively throughout their shifts, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow. The company values safety and provides gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment to protect team members on the job.
This role is ideal for those seeking supplemental income or a reliable second job, with no weekend work required and assignments limited to nearby communities for convenience. Valet Living prioritizes hiring individuals who can commit to consistency and who have a proactive attitude toward maintaining valuable community services. Additionally, there are opportunities for career growth, with half of the company’s Area Leader positions being filled through internal promotion. Employees also benefit from referral bonuses, adding a rewarding element to expanding the team.
Valet Living is committed to equal employment opportunity and values diversity in its workforce, welcoming applicants from various backgrounds to join their inclusive and supportive team. Overall, the Service Valet position at Valet Living offers a meaningful part-time job with steady hours, competitive pay, local assignments, and the opportunity to contribute positively to neighborhood living standards.
