Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider in the residential property management industry, specializing in amenity services that enhance the living experience within apartment communities across the United States. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service, Valet Living focuses on simplifying and improving everyday tasks for residents, promoting cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environments. The company prides itself on building trusted relationships with property owners, managers, and residents, utilizing innovative technology and dedicated team members to maintain high standards of community upkeep and convenience.
This job opportunity is for the position of a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet. This role is designed for individuals seeking consistent, reliable extra income with steady evening hours located conveniently close to home. The position is ideal for a second job or supplemental earnings, offering a structured yet flexible schedule primarily in the evenings from Sunday to Thursday, with no weekend shifts. Service Valets play a vital role in supporting apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling right from residents’ doorsteps, ensuring the neighborhoods stay clean and clutter-free by morning.
Working as a Service Valet involves utilizing either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped to tow a utility trailer, allowing for efficient collection and transportation of trash directly to on-site compactors. This focus on local service means no long-distance driving or off-site dumping is involved, making the work routine predictable and manageable for those balancing other commitments. The position also requires physical activity, including walking the community, climbing stairs, and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Use of a mobile app facilitates check-ins, work tracking, and photo documentation, enhancing operational efficiency and communication.
Hourly compensation depends on the vehicle used: $21 per hour for those with an open-bed pickup truck and $19 per hour for those using a tow-capable vehicle with a trailer. This role supports individuals who value steady, dependable work with benefits like fast pay through DailyPay, assignment proximity to their residence, and opportunities for career growth within Valet Living. The company emphasizes safety by providing necessary equipment such as gloves and vests and encourages community involvement by making a meaningful impact on the residential living experience.
Valet Living also promotes a culture of inclusivity and diversity, offering equal employment opportunities regardless of race, religion, gender, or any other protected status. Employees can anticipate a fast hiring process, enabling quick integration into the team and immediate earning potential. For those motivated by physical work, consistent scheduling, and a desire to contribute to better community environments, this role offers an excellent balance of work-life fit and financial reward.
