Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash collection for apartment communities across the United States. The company is committed to enhancing the quality of living for apartment residents by keeping their communities clean, safe, and welcoming through reliable and consistent waste collection services. As part of its workforce, Valet Living employs Service Valets who operate locally, ensuring that trash and recycling are collected efficiently from residents' doorsteps and properly disposed of on-site. This unique model helps foster cleaner environments without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping, making it an environmentally conscious and community-focused business.

Joining Valet Living as a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking supplementary income with a steady evening work schedule. This role is specifically designed for those who prefer staying close to home and want to avoid the hassles of long-distance travel or bulky item collections. Service Valets primarily serve local apartment communities within their residential areas, helping create cleaner and safer neighborhoods for residents. The nature of the job requires physical activity, including walking through apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and managing bagged trash and cardboard recycling.

This role comes with competitive hourly pay rates, offering $21 per hour for those using their own open-bed pickup trucks and $19 per hour for individuals using a vehicle capable of towing a trailer. Typically, Service Valets work approximately 10 to 15 or more hours weekly, primarily during weekday evenings Sunday through Thursday, without weekend shifts. Pay is processed quickly through DailyPay, ensuring employees receive timely compensation. The work schedule’s consistency makes this role ideal for individuals balancing other jobs, school, or family responsibilities. Valet Living prioritizes employee safety by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment, and encourages a supportive team environment with opportunities for career advancement. Many of its current leaders have advanced from Service Valet positions, indicating promising career growth potential within the organization.

Service Valets utilize a proprietary mobile app, which facilitates smooth communication and work tracking by allowing employees to check in, document their routes, and submit photos as needed. This integration of technology simplifies job management and promotes accountability. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer that embraces diversity and inclusion in the workplace, promoting a respectful culture across all locations. The company believes in recruiting and developing talent irrespective of race, religion, gender identity, or any other protected status.
