Job Description
Valet Living is a premier provider of residential amenity services, focusing on enhancing apartment communities by creating cleaner, safer, and more welcoming living environments. With a commitment to exceptional service and community care, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property management companies across the United States. The company specializes in delivering doorstep trash collection and recycling services, among other maintenance and resident-centric amenities. Valet Living nurtures a culture of inclusivity, growth, and respect, emphasizing diversity and promoting equal opportunity employment practices that reject discrimination based on any protected status.
We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment communities during evening hours. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a reliable source of supplemental income, a consistent part-time schedule, and work locations close to home. Service Valets provide a highly valued service by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling left at residents' doorsteps, ensuring parcels are gone by morning and communities remain tidy. This role requires someone energetic, dependable, and motivated to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while engaging in physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, and handling trash bags.
The job offers competitive hourly wages with two pay rates depending on the equipment used: $18.00 per hour for those without a truck and $20.00 per hour for those with an open-bed pickup truck or trailer-equipped vehicle. Shifts typically run from Friday through Sunday during the late evening hours after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, spanning 9 to 12 hours per week. Each Service Valet is assigned to a local community near their residence to keep commuting minimal. The company supports its workforce with a user-friendly mobile application to track work progress, check in, and submit photos as necessary. As a fast-hiring employer, Valet Living invites qualified candidates to apply promptly for quick onboarding opportunities.
This entry-level position offers a unique chance to combine physical activity with community service, ideal for those who prefer active jobs over desk-based roles. Joining Valet Living as a Service Valet not only helps bring immediate supplementary income but also presents opportunities for career advancement. The company has a strong track record of promoting from within, with many Area Leaders having begun their careers as Service Valets. Additional incentives include referral bonuses for recruiting others into the team, full provision of safety gear such as gloves and safety vests, and a workplace culture prioritizing safety and respect. If you value steady, flexible work that positively impacts your neighborhood and fits into your existing lifestyle, this role offers an excellent pathway worth considering.
