Job Description

Valet Living is a leading provider of front door residential services dedicated to enhancing the living experience in apartment communities across the United States. Known for their commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments, Valet Living partners with apartment communities to deliver exceptional doorstep trash and recycling collection services. The company prides itself on offering reliable, local, and consistent work opportunities which allow employees to earn extra income while making a positive impact on their neighborhoods.

This part-time position as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also referred to as a Service Valet, offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking steady evening work close to home without the challenges of long-distance driving or off-site dumping requirements. The role involves servicing apartment communities in a routine schedule, primarily during evening hours from Sunday to Thursday, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The pay rates are competitive, with those using an open-bed pickup truck earning $20.00 per hour and those without earning $18.00 per hour. Ideal for supplementing income or as a secondary job, this role emphasizes stability, ease of scheduling, and minimal commute demands.

As a Service Valet, you will collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transport them to on-site compactors using your personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a utility trailer. This eliminates the need for bulk item collection or long drives, promoting a localized daily routine in familiar neighborhoods. The job requires physical activity, including walking through the apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, fostering an active and engaging work environment.

Equipped with a mobile app, Service Valets use technology to check in, track progress, and capture photos when necessary, streamlining communication and operational efficiency. The company supports a fast hiring process and provides safety equipment such as gloves and safety vests to ensure workplace safety. Valet Living is committed to employee growth, with many area leaders having risen through the ranks from Service Valet positions, demonstrating a clear pathway for career development. Referral bonuses and daily pay options add further incentives for employees.

Valet Living values diversity and inclusivity in its workforce, ensuring equal employment opportunities across race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, and other protected statuses. This inclusive culture supports a supportive and respectful workplace where every employee can thrive. If you are authorized to work in the United States, have the necessary vehicle and equipment, and want a part-time role that blends physical activity with consistent local evening hours, consider joining Valet Living as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist today.
