Job Description

Valet Living is a pioneering company dedicated to enhancing the living experience within apartment communities by providing essential services that keep these environments clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents. As a leader in the property services industry, Valet Living focuses on creating a positive and consistent impact through their innovative doorstep trash collection, recycling, and package delivery services. The company is renowned for its commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility, blending hard work with a strong sense of social value to improve apartment living quality across the country. Valet Living’s team members enjoy robust support and opportunities for personal growth within a respectful and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and equal opportunity.

The role of a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, is a part-time position that offers individuals a reliable way to earn extra income with a consistent evening schedule. This role is perfectly suited for those seeking steady supplemental earnings, whether as a second job, or a flexible addition to their existing commitments such as school or family care. Service Valets play a critical role by maintaining the cleanliness and overall appeal of apartment communities, directly contributing to the residents’ satisfaction and community pride.

Each shift involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps and transporting these materials to onsite compactors, ensuring all waste is removed by morning. Unlike traditional waste collection jobs, this role requires no long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping, making it safer and more manageable. Service Valets use a mobile app to check in, track their work, and capture photos as needed – a seamless integration of technology that enhances work efficiency and communication.

The schedule is designed to provide consistency and convenience, typically covering 10-15+ hours per week on weeknights, Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7 or 8 PM. This structure allows for predictable work hours without weekend commitments, supporting a balanced lifestyle. Pay rates are competitive, with a non-truck pay rate starting at $16 per hour and a higher rate of $19 per hour for those using a truck during their shifts. Employees benefit from a fast hiring process, enabling quick start dates and early access to income through daily pay options.

In addition to the financial benefits, this role fosters physical activity, offering an active work environment where employees walk through apartment communities, climb stairs, and work outdoors. It is an ideal position for individuals who prefer a job that keeps them moving versus sitting all day at a desk. Service Valets can build a rewarding part-time career with opportunities for advancement, as Valet Living actively promotes talent from within, with many area leaders originally starting as Service Valets. The company also supports its team with safety equipment like gloves and vests, ensuring employee wellbeing on the job.

Joining Valet Living means becoming part of a motivated team that values respect, safety, and making a visible difference in communities. If you are looking for dependable extra income, flexibility, and a way to stay local while making a meaningful contribution, this part-time Service Valet position provides a compelling opportunity.
